This ticker will turn red when there is an urgent alert issued by law enforcement in your county:

Let me begin by thanking you for the very real honor of serving as your District Attorney. This is my home. It always has been. This is the place where my great great grandfather lived his whole life. My Grandfather was Sheriff. My desire to serve the community is rooted in a lifelong investment in this place—its people, its schools, its way of life. The privilege of giving back to the people of my home county means a great deal to me and I thank you for trusting me to be your District Attorney.
All of us want to live in a place where criminals leave us alone and are properly punished if they don’t. I’ve worked awfully hard with just that vision in mind. I’m proud of the top-quality people who now represent you when criminals strike. I’m proud of our excellent working relationship with law enforcement. I’m proud of our services to crime victims. I’m proud of our partnership with the schools. Ask law enforcement. Ask court personnel. Ask school officials. If you do, I’m confident that you will be proud of your District Attorney’s Office.
There are two major reasons I want to continue to serve as your District Attorney. First, although I’m proud of our progress, I can see so many ways that we can become even better. We can become the best multi-county circuit District Attorney’s Office in Georgia. I want to continue to improve until that is exactly how we are known.
Second, criminals in surrounding counties pose a serious threat to our way of life. For example, in Clayton County there are 61 active street gangs. Your District Attorney’s Office has been hard at work, proactively taking steps to help our excellent law enforcement protect our borders. If you’ll re-elect me, I will continue our fight against drug dealers, gangs, and sexual predators. I will continue to put the very best prosecutors in our courtrooms. I will continue to work with the schools to see that our children are safe. I want to re-up for this battle—Fayette is too precious to me and to my family to surrender it to criminals.
I would appreciate your vote and your continued trust and support.
